Thank you all for the lovely experience. Everything was well coordinated and organised.
I found the my E-ALS course really effective and productive, and I totally recommend it to other colleagues.
Amirhosein Zabihi, NHS

I recently updated my ALS Certification through an E-ALS course run by the Academy of Life Support. I cannot recommend the team highly enough for such courses – it was by far the best organised and run course of it’s kind I have participated in. The faculty on the day itself were friendly, professional, and approachable. They clearly had a breadth of knowledge and experience. The venue was also an ideal setting for a course such as this. I would recommend the Academy of Life Support for colleagues both completing ALS for the first time, or recertifying like myself – thank you to the team!

Hannah Greenacre, ED Registrar
Intense, but brilliant day! The faculty kept things fun and relevant with focused moments to ensure all candidates were progressing well. Constantly checking in and updating individuals on progress was really useful to gain confidence or understand where improvements can be made. Everyone was very approachable which facilitated an easy learning environment.
Jeet Patel, NHS

The course was expertly run by faculty who made us feel comfortable. The food was great. I’ve known other courses which charged more and haven’t even given proper food. Going for this course was the right decision ultimately. I’d recommend other people to go for their course.

Saeed Mohamed, NHS

The course was very well structured, organised and coordinated. All the instructors were really nice and very helpful. They answered all our questions and were supportive throughout the course. I really recommend doing ALS through the Academy of Life Support. Also, I have to say that the food was brilliant! I wanted to thank everyone for helping me complete the course.

Maria Dardar, Registrar, Respiratory Medicine
Faculty was absolutely brilliant, I admire the amount of hard work they put in preparing and conducting this course. Venue was brilliant and easy to find just off M25. Food and refreshments were more than I expected. I thank to whole team for conducting eALS in such a professional and friendly manner.
Arjaz Qureshi, Acute Medical Registrar
Thank you for firstly getting me on the course and also for a great day. Please also thank the entire faculty for me it was really nice to meet you all and learn. You are all very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. I had a great time and met people I’ll definitely keep in touch with.
Arjan Shah, GP | A&E
I had an opportunity to attend both the immediate and advanced life support courses and they are the best courses I have ever attended. The Immediate Life Support course taught me how to recognise and initiate treatment of a deteriorating patient using the A to E assessment approach, while the Advanced Life Support course focused on technical and leadership skills. Everyone worked in small groups and each person had an opportunity to practice compressions, rhythm recognition and use the defibrillator. The course leaders created effective teams and made sure that all tasks were managed appropriately and effectively. Both courses were lead by highly skilled professionals. All material was explained in depth and demonstrated. Guidance and support were provided throughout both courses. The venue was great, with a unique atmosphere and a proper meal was provided for all participants! I would highly recommend both courses and I genuinely enjoyed being there.
Agnieszka Baran-Lazell, Trainee Nurse Associate
I was recently given the opportunity to attend an Advanced Life Support course run by Academy of Life Support. I was quite impressed by the venue’s size and capacity, as well as how well organised and user-friendly the administrative side of everything was. I would strongly suggest this course to anyone considering taking it for the first time or for re-certification. The faculty lecturers who presented throughout the course of the two days were very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable.
Emma Chapman, Senior Sister, BHR Hospitals

Coming from a pre-hospital paramedic background, I was really interested in learning the in-hospital perspective of ALS. So, following a recommendation from a colleague, I joined the eALS course run by the Academy of Life Support.
The coaching and atmosphere created by the instructor team was fantastic. I really felt comfortable asking questions and learnt a vast amount as a result. The knowledge and experience of the instructors was clear from the beginning. There was a lot of content for one day of face to face learning. However, the e-learning before the course was perfect for setting the high standard expected. Having never worked in a hospital environment, I felt that by the end of the course, I had a good grasp of the major concepts of in-hospital ALS. I genuinely enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone within healthcare, especially my paramedic colleagues who would like to understand more about the in-hospital process of ALS.

Johnathan Williams, Paramedic
I was recommended ALS as a course provider by a colleague, and was not disappointed. The course was incredibly well organised beforehand and on the day. There was a high quality, numerous and enthusiastic educational faculty. It was a long and challenging day, but very rewarding and indeed fun. I would myself now recommend ALS to anyone looking to obtain certificates from RCUK
Craig Mclean, Advanced Paramedic, EEAST

I recently attended the ALS course at the Academy of Life Support. The venue was excellent and the course was very organised from the moment you arrived till the end. Food and refreshments were perfect. The faculty was very approachable , knowledgeable and tried their best to help everyone. One of the best courses I ever attended. I recommend this course to everyone.

Mohamed Barakat, ST3, EM

I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the team and directors at the Academy of Life Support, who allowed me to appear for the exam. Your support made a significant difference, especially considering how worried I was before the test.
The ALS course you are conducting is outstanding compared to others. The way everyone teaches, the quality of the equipment, and the overall everything is exceptional.

Muhammed Bux, NHS

I just wanted to say what a great day it was. The trainers were so knowledgable. The course has provided me with so much more confidence to carry out my role as a paramedic. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this course to colleagues. Thank you.
